Custom Jewelry

One of the cornerstones of Peter Franklin Jewelers is our design and manufacturing of custom jewelry. Do you have an idea for a piece of jewelry you would like to create? Are you looking for a piece of jewelry that is unique, a one-of-a-kind? We can create that piece of jewelry for you.

Jewelry Repair

We have a team of master goldsmiths on staff at Peter Franklin Jewelers. They work in our custom-designed shop at our Dupont location. They can repair your broken jewelry, remount gemstones into a new piece of jewelry, engrave a gift, or resize a ring that no longer fits. Having master goldsmiths on staff allows us to take care of your jewelry repairs quickly, with most items being repaired in one week or less.

Do have a piece of jewelry that you think cannot be fixed? Bring it in and our expertly trained staff will be happy to examine the piece and give you some suggestions. With our new laser welder, we can even weld your broken eyeglasses!

Appraisals

Peter Franklin Jewelers has a GIA Graduate Gemologist and qualified GIA graduates on staff to appraise your jewelry. Regardless of where the jewelry was purchased, we can provide you with an appraisal for personal or insurance use.

As part of our commitment to our guests, we provide an independent laboratory grading report on most diamonds ½ carat or larger and an appraisal for you and your insurance company. Our grading reports are issued by one of the following laboratories: Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or European Gemological Laboratory (EGL).
